Think luxury picnic where curated design meets chef-inspired platters and you don't have to lift a finger- that's what we do. We take care of all the details- we scout the perfect location in Sydney or you can use your own spot, bring the food and set it up to look incredible. Plus, we clean everything up when you're done so you can walk off into the sunset. No matter what you’re celebrating, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, proposal or one of life’s everyday wins, we want to help you create the most inspiring, unique and relaxing experience.

FAQ

Helpful Information

We require at least 14 days notice of a picnic. However, with the exception of last minute cancellations we may have availability, please enquire.

What are ToDineFor's prefererred picnic spots?

We specialise in locations on the eastern suburbs and surrounds.
We also offer free delivery up to 5 KM radius from Sydney CBD.

Can we choose a different location?

Absolutely, but keep in mind that may involve an additional travel fee to cover mileage and time.

Of course!

Currently, due to Covid, we are only able to provide for a maximum of 50 guests.

Large spills requiring dry cleaning will incur a cleaning fee and breakages will need replacing. These costs will be deducted from your security bond.

We will have the set up ready for the agreed start time. We ask that you send us a text when you are 10 minutes away so we can finalise the last minute touches. We will wait until you arrive before heading off unless we have specified otherwise.
We will come back at the agreed finish time and pack it all up for you.

We ask that you let us know if you are running late as we want your grazing spread to be freshly served before your arrival.
We are able to wait 20 minutes maximum with no fee.
A fee of $40 for 20-40 minutes late.
A fee of $80 for 40-60 minutes late

Yes! Depends on our availability. Extra hourly charges or overnight hire costs are required.

  • A fee of $150 for an extra  hour of your picnic. 

  • A fee of $15 per person for an extra night (DIY picnic only) 

Around 72 hours from your picnic, we will touch base with you if the forecast is looking unfavourable. A 100% refund will be offered for inclement weather forecasted with the option of rescheduling at no charge pending availability.

Terms and conditions

Privacy policy

All client information collected by ToDineFor picnics is kept in our own private database system. No information is shared to any third-party.
Personal information that we may collect includes your name, contact details, residential address (for drop off of platters or home picnics), Bank details (For refund of security bond), personal preferences, opinions and feedback.

Conditions of booking

We require at least 14 days notice of a proposed picnic and 3 days notice of a proposed platter (Subject to availability)
A booking is not confirmed until 40% deposit is paid at time of booking. Up until deposit payment has been made, ToDineFor picnics reserve the right to communicate with other clients for the same proposed event date. Full payment including bond is due 7 days prior to picnic date.

Security bond
The bond is 100% refundable upon pack down and assessment of props. Upon confirmation of your booking, we will send you a document of our prop hire and care with associated costs for any damages, broken or missing equipment that will be deducted from your security bond.

  • A $250 security bond is applicable to all group picnics and DIY hire picnics for groups up to 15.

  • A $350 security bond is applicable for all group picnics and DIY hire picnics for groups greater than 15.

Refund and cancellation policy

A full refund is provided for cancellations 28 days or more from a booking less a $33 service fee.

For cancellations 27 days or less prior to your  booking, a refund less the deposit paid is applicable.

Outside 72 hours from your picnic:
A 100% refund will be offered for cancellation for inclement weat​her only.

Picnics can be rescheduled no less than 14 days prior to your booking (pending availability). Only one reschedule permissible. ($55 service fee applicable).

Park fees

Park permit fees are not included in our pricing. Although a majority of parks offer  permit free picnics, some incur a charge that need to be paid when you're securing your preferred picnic location (paid by customer direct to park prior to picnic)

  

Parking fees

Parking fees and additional set up time depending of selected picnic spots will incur a surcharge.

Bond refund 

All bond refund will be process within 48 hour after your picnic. Please ensure your account details are accurate.  

Breakages, stains or damage will be taken from your bond, prices of every item are noted in your check list document
