These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) form a binding agreement between you (“the Client”) and To Dine For Picnics (“To Dine For”, “we”, “us”). By paying your initial deposit or booking through our website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, which govern your engagement of our services and hire of equipment.
For clarity:
Bookings are confirmed once the deposit has been paid. A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking. This ensures your date is secured and the resources needed for your event are reserved exclusively for you.
The remaining balance, including the required bond, must be fully paid 5 days prior to the event date. Payment can be made via credit or debit card through our website, or by direct bank transfer. If full payment, including the bond, is not received at least 72 hours prior, To Dine For reserves the right not to proceed with the booking, and any deposit paid will be forfeited.
Guest numbers can be increased up to 3 days prior, subject to availability. Any additional costs must be paid before the event. GST applies to all charges and is due with the principal payment.
This applies regardless of reason for cancellation, including weather or personal circumstances. Once booked, your date is exclusively reserved. Any external or third-party services arranged by To Dine For are strictly non-refundable.
At To Dine For, we understand that the weather can be unpredictable and it’s stressful when it might affect your event. While we can’t control the elements, we do our best to help you find a suitable solution. We maintain a list of indoor or rentable venues and partner restaurants, which we can recommend if needed.
Refunds: Please note that we do not offer refunds for bad weather or wet ground conditions, as your booking secures a specific date and our team and resources are reserved exclusively for you.
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule due to weather, please notify us at least 5 days before your event. We will do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply depending on third-party supplier requirements.
Gift Voucher Option: If rescheduling is not possible, a gift voucher equal to the full booking value can be issued. This voucher is valid for 12 months.
Safety: For the safety of our team and your guests, we will not proceed with setups in open, unsheltered locations if rain, high winds, or extreme heat are forecasted. We will work with you to find the safest and most suitable alternative.
A refundable bond is required to cover potential loss, damage, or late return of equipment. Bond amounts depend on the size of the group and type of hire:

Any third-party services arranged through To Dine For, including catering, floral arrangements, photography, or entertainment, are provided by independent suppliers and are subject to each provider’s individual terms and conditions. While some of these services are listed on the To Dine For website as “extras,” this does not mean they are directly provided or managed by To Dine For. We act solely as a facilitator for these services and are not responsible for cancellations, damages, or any other issues arising from their provision.
By selecting these extras, the Client acknowledges that all risks, responsibilities, and obligations related to the third-party service rest entirely with the Client and the external provider.
Styling items included as part of the standard picnic package, as well as any additional styling items required due to the scale or specific needs of an event (including but not limited to additional vases, custom styling elements, or items sourced specifically for an event) may require external sourcing.
Any styling items organised specifically for an event are non-refundable once confirmed. Late cancellations or changes may incur a handling or cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred.
Where clients choose to supply their own florals or styling elements, To Dine For strongly recommends that all accompanying items (such as vases) are supplied by the client. If To Dine For agrees to source these items as an exception, this will be done on a best-effort basis and may be subject to additional fees and non-refundable costs.
To Dine For does not provide catering. All consumables booked via our website are from third-party providers. By ordering, the Client accepts that all risks, responsibilities, and liabilities rest with the external provider and themselves.
Alcohol
To Dine For does not provide alcohol, as presently there is no license that caters to this type of industry. Clients are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages for personal consumption, in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Suggested locations on our website are for booking purposes only. Any location chosen, including “I have my own location,” is fully the Client’s responsibility. Clients must ensure compliance with all applicable rules, permits, fees, and regulations. To Dine For may provide guidance but is not liable for fines, penalties, or any issues arising from venue selection.
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe access, suitable parking, and clear delivery/setup paths. We are not responsible for injury, damage, or loss at the venue. Clients indemnify To Dine For against any claims.
Umbrellas are included at one per table as part of the standard package. The Client acknowledges that umbrellas may pose risks. In strong wind, rain, or other unsafe conditions, umbrellas must be closed and secured to prevent accidents. The Client assumes full responsibility for any incidents related to umbrellas.
Clients may request that umbrellas not be included in their setup, with no change to the package price. For indoor setups, the Client is responsible for ensuring accessibility, including entrances, stairs, lifts, or any other requirements. To Dine For will not install umbrellas in indoor locations above ground level without a suitable elevator, or where safe access cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to decline installation in unsafe conditions, whether indoor or outdoor, without refund.
Refunds: Only additional umbrellas purchased as extras beyond the standard package are eligible for a 100% refund if canceled. Umbrellas included in the fixed-price package are not refundable under any circumstances.
To Dine For shall not be held liable for any damage, injury, death, or loss of income arising from equipment hire, services provided, or third-party services. All equipment remains the responsibility of the Client from delivery until return.
The To Dine For brand, logos, creative content, and all designs are protected by copyright and trademark laws. All photographs, videos, text, and creative material produced by To Dine For remain our exclusive property. Sharing of this content on platforms such as, but not limited, to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, or TikTok is permitted only when proper credit is given to To Dine For Picnics and, where possible, linked back to our official channels. Clients and third parties may post images of events styled or delivered by To Dine For; however, we kindly request that in all cases our company is clearly acknowledged and credited. Some designs, such as “Under the Stars”, are protected under a registered design patent in Australia, and any attempt to copy or reproduce these without authorization may result in legal action.
In the unlikely event that unforeseen circumstances prevent To Dine For from providing the agreed services, we will notify the Client as soon as possible. Refunds will only be issued for services provided directly by To Dine For that cannot be delivered.
Booking fees or payments for any extras arranged through third-party providers are subject to the terms of those providers, and To Dine For is not responsible for any refunds for these in the event of force majeure. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health orders, or extreme weather conditions.
